Tribal Governments

I want to thank all of you for becoming members of our new advocacy group, CATG, an organization that I believe will represent the interests of California Tribes and will impact both California and United States’ policy as it applies to California Tribes.

Our Goals? 

To maintain a relationship with the State of California and the federal government in order to assure that our views are heard and considered.

CATG will provide effective advocacy so that we can maintain a true government-to-government relationship.  When an agency of either California or the United States considers developing policies, it is my hope that we are there at the table helping to develop those policies so that the impact of those policies take into account the effect it will have upon tribal government.

 Dialogue is very important and it is something that we need to have amongst us as tribal people.  CATG will be the vehicle that will facilitate discussions amongst the tribes.  With your help we can develop that dialogue.

With your help I believe that we can have a huge impact and that we will be heard.  Please contact me if you have any suggestions that can make us a more dynamic organization.
